Who should be involved from our end?
Bring 4-5 people from your team at most! Make sure they know your product, customers, and go-to-market plan really well. Everyone who comes should promise to stay for all the workshops.
Do you offer discounts for early stage companies?
If your company has 5 or fewer employees or makes less than $500,000 in ARR, I offer a discount: $1,500.
Do you have any industry-specific expertise?
I’ve worked with over 200 companies in 20 different industries, but I’m not an expert in any one industry. That’s where you come in! I’ll count on you to share the important details about your industry during the whole process—from workshops to writing the copy.
What pre-work will I need to do before working with me?
We’ll send you a questionnaire to fill out and ask for a demo video of your product. During the workshops, you’ll also show me parts of the product live. Here’s the link to the questionnaire!
Can you help with other things, like sales decks?
My work can (and should!) shape your other materials, but I don’t create those as part of my service. Once we’re done, we can have a 30-minute consultation to discuss how to bring your positioning to life in your go-to-market efforts.
What do I actually get at the end of the process?
By the end of our process, you’ll get a Canva file with: A finished positioning and messaging canvas, a homepage wireframe with layout, sections, and ready-to-use copy
How long does the process take?
The whole process takes 2–3 weeks to deliver your final homepage wireframe with structure, sections, and copy. But the timeline depends on how quickly your team gives feedback on copy drafts. Make sure your team is ready to respond quickly to keep things moving!
Will you interview our customers?
I don’t do this for four main reasons: – It would make my service much more expensive. – It would slow the process down significantly. – I don’t know your industry as well as you do. – Early-stage founders should never outsource talking to their customers. I rely on you as the experts on your customers. This project’s success depends on how well you understand them.
Will your process help improve our website’s conversion rate?
If your positioning changes a lot, you might need to tweak your marketing strategy to attract the right customers. For example, if you used to target developers but switch to focus on business leaders, your initial conversion rate could drop because the content won’t match the old audience. But if you adjust your marketing to bring in more executives, the conversion rate will improve for your ideal audience.
Do you handle homepage design too?
I deliver a wireframe that’s super simple design-wise. It gives a basic layout suggestion (like text on the left, image on the right) but doesn’t include any branding—no fonts, colors, images, or gifs. The copy, however, is fully production-ready.
